To redeem a League of Legends RP code, open the store in the PC client, click the "Account" button, choose "Redeem Codes", enter the code exactly as written and submit it. According to Riot Games, the RP is added to your account. A code only works in the region where it was purchased; the code from GiftGame is for the Turkey (TR) server.
What is RP?
RP (Riot Points) is the store currency of League of Legends, used for champions, skins and other content. Riot Games calls prepaid cards and codes "cash codes": according to Riot, they add game currency such as RP or Valorant Points to an account. In GiftGame the LoL reward is delivered as a digital code.
Where does your code arrive in GiftGame?
When you pick a League of Legends RP reward with GG in GiftGame:
- You choose the reward and the GG is deducted from your balance.
- Your request is approved.
- After approval the code arrives as a message in your inbox in the app; in your web account it opens with Show code.
The code is shown only inside your GiftGame account. Never hand it to someone offering to "redeem it for you"; see the safety guide.
Step by step in the client
The League of Legends flow from Riot Games' "Prepaid Cards, Cash Codes, & Content Codes" page:
- Open the League of Legends client on PC and log in to your Riot account.
- Open the Store.
- Click the Account button at the top right.
- Choose Redeem Codes.
- Enter the code from your GiftGame inbox exactly as written (no spaces) and press Submit.
- Check that your RP balance at the top of the store has gone up.
Redeeming on the web
Riot also allows web redemption: open Riot's redeem page (shop.riotgames.com/redeem), sign in with your Riot account, enter the code, select the game and confirm. Riot expects the currency to arrive instantly or within a day.
If the code does not work

Do not share the code on Discord, in chats or on social media; a redeemed code cannot be recovered.

Where do I enter a League of Legends RP code?
