Free Robux: The Honest Answer and What Actually Works

There is no generator, code or site that gives free Robux; Roblox's help page says any person, video, website or experience promising free Robux is a scam and violates its Terms of Use. The way to get Robux without paying is to complete tasks in a rewards app, exchange the points for a Roblox gift card code and redeem it at roblox.com/redeem; in GiftGame the points accumulate as GG.

01What Roblox says

Roblox's help article "Free Robux or Subscription Generators" is blunt: there is no such thing as free Robux, subscriptions, tricks or codes, and any person, video, website or experience that says otherwise is a scam and a violation of the Roblox Terms of Use. According to Roblox the aim of these offers is to get your password or personal information or to make you click a bad link, and the target is your account with all the Robux and items in it. Roblox recommends three things: never enter your password anywhere other than the Roblox login page, never share your password or sensitive information with another user, and do not click suspicious off-site links. If you see such an offer, report it with the "Report Abuse" buttons in the apps and in every experience menu.

02The official sources of Robux

According to Roblox's "Ways to Get Robux" help page, Robux is bought in the mobile, browser and console apps, comes monthly with a Premium membership and is loaded with Roblox gift cards. Creators who build experiences earn Robux by selling passes, items and subscriptions inside them. In every one of these routes someone pays for the Robux: either you, or the player spending inside an experience you made. That is where the honest answer to the "free" search comes from: a gift card whose cost an advertiser covers instead of you.

03The real way: do tasks, collect GG, convert to a Roblox gift card

Rewards apps get their money from advertisers: a game studio pays to win new players, a research company pays for survey answers. You complete the task, the app passes your share on as points, and you exchange the points for a gift card code. In GiftGame:

1. Install the app and create an account.
2. Choose from app trials and game tasks on the offerwalls, market research surveys in the survey section, plus mini games, the wheel and the daily reward.
3. Meet the task's condition; once the partner reports it, the GG is credited to your balance.
4. Pick the Roblox gift card reward from the catalog; the GG is deducted and your request goes for approval.
5. After approval the code arrives as a message in your in-app inbox; in your web account it opens with "Show code".
6. Redeem the code at roblox.com/redeem and turn the credit into Robux with "Get Robux".

How tasks work is explained in earning game codes by completing tasks, and every way to earn is in how to earn GG.

04From gift card code to Robux

The flow from Roblox's help page (detailed guide):

If the code gives an error, first check characters that look alike, such as 0 and O, 1 and I, 5 and S. Never enter the code anywhere other than Roblox; any offer to "redeem your code with us and get double Robux" is exactly the scam Roblox warns about.

05Why "free" but not "instant"

Tasks take time, surveys need a matching profile and not every task is open to everyone; partner reports range from minutes to days. If you see an app promising "Robux in five minutes", check the warning signs in how to choose a trustworthy rewards app. For messages asking for your code or account there is the safety guide, for other questions the FAQ, and codes for other games are covered in how to get free game codes.
