In short
- An offerwall is a list where advertisers say "I pay this much to whoever does this"; the app passes part of that revenue to you as GG.
- The reward arrives once the task's condition is met and the partner reports it: within minutes for time-based tasks like Playtime, up to days for level or sign-up tasks.
- Read the conditions before starting tasks that ask for payment details, "free trials" that need a card, or identity documents; skip them if unsure.
Earning game codes by completing tasks means finishing the jobs listed on an app's offerwall, collecting points for them and exchanging the points for a code. The advertiser pays for the task: you install a game and reach a level, fill in a survey or sign up for a service; the partner reports it to the app, and in GiftGame the reward is credited to your balance as GG.
What is an offerwall?
An offerwall is a list that opens inside the app, with a task and its reward on every row. The companies that fill the list (in GiftGame: adjoe, BitLabs, Torox and CPX Research) sign deals with advertisers, track the task on your device and report completion to the app. Google Play's ads policy treats rewarded ads that users explicitly opt into differently from ordinary ads: an offerwall is the "you chose to enter" kind; you are not required to complete tasks and the app keeps working if you do not.
| Task type | What is required | Who lists it |
|---|---|---|
| Playing games (time-based) | Install and play the advertised game; according to adjoe the reward accrues per time spent or per event reached | adjoe Playtime |
| Game tasks (level-based) | Reach a stated level, chapter or purchase step | Torox |
| Surveys | Complete a market research survey that matches your profile | BitLabs, CPX Research |
| Sign-up / trial | Register for a service, try an app | Torox and other offerwalls |
Who pays?
The advertiser. A game studio budgets for new players, a research company for survey answers; the offerwall company splits that budget into tasks. When you complete one, the partner collects from the advertiser, reports it to the app, and the app gives you your share as GG. That is why "codes without paying" is possible: the advertiser pays for the code, not you. All the ways to earn are in the how to earn GG guide, and the codes on offer are listed in how to get free game codes.
When does the reward arrive?
-
You picked the taskThe offerwall records the click; some partners only count the task in an app installed after that click.
-
You met the conditionIn a time-based task the partner sees the time accrue; in a level-based task it sees the level event.
-
The partner reported itThe partner sends a "completed" message to the app; according to adjoe the timing depends on the task type, and survey partners usually report completed surveys quickly.
-
GG creditedOnce the report reaches us your balance grows. You turn the balance into a code by choosing a reward.
Delays happen and are usually on the partner's side: tasks waiting for advertiser approval, quality checks on surveys, a "new user" condition on the task. Every partner page has a "credit not received" checklist.
Which tasks need care?
On the GiftGame side there is one more rule: when the GG you collected is exchanged for a reward, the request goes for approval and the code arrives only in the inbox of your own account. Never give the code to anyone offering to "redeem it for you"; see the safety guide.
Ways beyond the offerwall
If you would rather not do tasks, GiftGame's mini games, wheel and daily reward also give GG; the amounts are smaller than tasks, but they ask for nothing except time. Which path suits you depends on your time and device. For other questions see the FAQ.

Frequently asked questions
What is an offerwall?
A list inside an app with a task and its reward on every row. Advertisers pay for the tasks; the offerwall company tracks completion and reports it to the app, which pays your share in points.
Do points earned from tasks really turn into game codes?
Yes. In GiftGame the GG you collect converts into the game codes and gift cards in the catalog; after approval the code arrives in your in-app inbox and web account.
I did the task but got no points, why?
The most common reasons: the condition was not fully met, the partner has not reported yet, the task required a new user, or a VPN was used. Check the partner pages' checklists; if unresolved, write to support in the app.
Which tasks should I stay away from?
Pages outside the offerwall that ask for ID, card or password details, and "free trial" tasks you do not know how to cancel. Never start a task without reading its condition.
Can I earn points without doing tasks?
Yes, mini games, the wheel and the daily reward also give points; the amounts are smaller than tasks.
